The short version.

The Daily Catch is free practice while it’s in beta. Use it to help your kids learn, and tell us when something’s wrong.

Who can sign up

Accounts are for parents and legal guardians, who add their own kids. By adding a kid, you confirm you’re their parent or guardian and agree to how we handle their data in the Privacy Policy.

Practice, not the real test

Questions are original practice written in the style of the Iowa Assessments, mostly by AI. They can contain mistakes, and scores here don’t predict official results. The Daily Catch isn’t affiliated with or endorsed by Riverside Insights or the University of Iowa.

The beta

Features may change or stop working while we build. It’s free during the beta; if that changes, we’ll email you well before it does, and you can download or delete your data at any time.

Fair use

Don’t try to break the service, get around its limits, or use it for anything other than practice. We may close accounts that do.

Credits

Creature names, stats, descriptions and art come from The Tuxemon Project (GPL-3.0 code, CC BY-SA art). Lessons open on Khan Academy, which isn’t affiliated either.
