How it works

Fresh practice every morning

Each subject is ten questions in the style of the Iowa Assessments, written new every day for your kid’s grade: vocabulary, reading, spelling, writing, math concepts, computation, science and social studies. A warm-up of five questions from earlier lessons starts each day.

Every miss gets a teacher

When an answer is wrong, Prof. Kernel names the exact step that slipped, works a similar problem, and hands over one more to try. Still fuzzy? A Khan Academy lesson on that skill is one tap away. Spelling is read aloud, and typed answers are graded on the spot.

Catch them, then prove it

Five right in a row catches the wild Tuxemon hiding in each subject. Rare ones come only from mastering a skill, and the partner your kid picks evolves as their scores climb. Each grade is a new season with new Tuxemon to find.

Why it works

Right once isn’t learned.

A skill only counts as mastered after your kid gets it right again the next day, three days later and a week later. Answers given after a hint, an example or a video count half. It’s slower than a points chase, and it’s why the parents’ page can tell you what actually stuck.

Today’s edition of The Daily Catch
For parents

Know what stuck, not just what got clicked.

Remembered on delayed checks

How much your kid got right, with no help, on skills they learned days earlier. It’s the first number on the parents’ page.

The mistake that keeps coming back

Every miss is diagnosed, so the page can name the exact step, like “finding a common denominator,” with a lesson to watch together.

The whole family

Up to five kids, each with their own partner, collection and progress. A second parent can join with their own sign-in.

Kids’ privacy

Kids never type an email.

First names only. A parent or teacher adds each kid with a first name or nickname and a grade. That’s all we ask for.

No ads, ever. We don’t show ads, and we don’t sell or share kids’ data.

AI with limits. Answers go to an AI service only to write questions and give feedback. Kids’ names are never sent.

Yours to take or delete. Download everything, or delete the whole account, from the parents’ page.
